Dr. Alina Molnar
Alina was born in Romania and moved to Australian soil more than ten years ago. She has been practicing dentistry in Melbourne ever since.
Why she wanted to be a dentist? It seemed like a perfect marriage between helping people, tinkering and building things with her hands, immediate satisfaction, and variety. And she was right. Being able to bring a smile to someone’s face, or help them relieve pain has been a very rewarding experience.
Alina completed her dentistry studies in Romania in 1997 and after working in a private practice there, she moved to Melbourne in 2006. She enjoys every aspect of clinical dentistry, particularly with endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. But most of all she gets a kick out of making her patients feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair. For that she uses an array of skills, ranging from ‘the most painfree injections ever’, or incorporating TFT techniques for her anxious and fearful patients (Alina is also a qualified TFT practitioner).
When she’s not working in the surgery, she’s rediscovering the world through the eyes of her adorable toddler, runs a successful arts not-for-profit alongside a group of friends, and mostly counts herself lucky to be surrounded by wonderful friends.
