Dr. Alexandra Radu

Dr Alexandra Radu joined the team at Be You Dental in 2018 and brings more than 20 years of experience in private dental practice.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004, Alexandra completed a postgraduate diploma in clinical dentistry, focused on implant dentistry, at the University of Melbourne. She later attained Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Alexandra values the relationship she builds with her patients. She listens carefully, plans treatment thoughtfully and clearly explains the reasoning, benefits, limitations and alternatives behind each recommendation.

Alongside clinical practice, Alexandra continues in her role as a Clinical Lecturer at the Melbourne Dental School. She has taught final-year dental students since 2015 and finds it rewarding to share her experience and support them as they develop their clinical skills. Her commitment to education and service has also taken her to Papua New Guinea and Cambodia, where she has contributed to volunteer dental programs in communities with limited access to care.

Outside dentistry, Alexandra most enjoys spending time with her family.
